“‘The Office’ made all my dreams come true. When I moved to Los Angeles to be an actress, all I wanted to do was to be part of a group of people on a really funny show that I truly loved. And it came true. That’s a really powerful thing, to be a little girl and wish for this thing and then have it happen. I got to be on the ‘Cheers’ of my generation. John and I got to be Sam and Diane, which is what I wanted more than anything.” — Jenna Fischer
“I was a waiter before this. ‘The Office’ has given me every opportunity I’ve ever had, along with a pile of experiences and moments and friends that have changed my life forever. To say it’s been transformative is an understatement. You can go from the basics, in that every job I’ve ever gotten was because of this show, to the more existential conversation that I never would have met my wife (actress Emily Blunt) had I not gotten this show. I never would have been in L.A., and she never would have known who I was.” — John Krasinski

It takes a lot to make Chef Gordon Ramsey look calm, but on a recent Kitchen Nightmares episode, Samy and Amy Bouzaglo did just that. http://bit.ly/102guFx

Olivia Pope and President Fitzgerald Grant’s relationship is a driving force on “Scandal”; love scenes between the two are frequent and intense. When asked on “Watch What Happens Live!” by a fan what Tony Goldwyn’s real-life wife of 20 + years thinks of the fiery connection, Goldwyn laughed. “It’s a problem,” he quipped.
“The honest answer is, my wife doesn’t watch it,” he continued. “She watched the pilot and thought it was great, but yeah … I don’t encourage it.”
His daughters Anna and Tess, however, are big fans. “My two girls think it’s hilarious. Disgusting and hilarious. So they send me all kinds of rude texts,” he said, citing one occasion on which his 18-year-old messaged him a particularly racy video clip from the show with a note saying, “Excuse me?!”
For Goldwyn, the love scenes are just part of the job. But he admitted there have been times when even he’s felt uncomfortable with them. “The most embarrassing one for me was when I had to direct my own sex scene.”
